Do I need Adj.leadouts on my arf nobler.

If you have the time, add the adjustable leadouts. You'll be happier 'cause you won't always wonder about it! However, if you locate the CG as specified, it will fly just fine.

Maybe you might want them. I think most Arf'ers sort of take the easy route (for better or worse!) and make the minimum of mod's.

For the 6 manuevers mine lasted, it felt great where they put them.

Mine has flown quite well with the stock leadout location. I did add 1/4 ounce of extra tip weight. I have had three different engines on mine so far and it's got about 75 flights. I beat the heck out of it at Brodak's Fly In, but it survived and is still flying just fine.

Your plane will probably fly just fine, but it all depends on the CG and your flying style. Don't forget, you can always cut open the tip covering and move the leadouts the old fashioned way.

No adjustable leadouts are needed, unless you want to install them. It's just a matter of choice, just like a tip weight box.

The only part that will need your definite attention is the FLIGHT CONTROLS and LEAD OUTS.

The fist offerings of the ARF Nobler that was produced by Top Flight came under heavy scrutiny and there were some inherent problems.

If this is you first ARF Nobler, I suggest a search of this site for the ARF Nobler posts and get ready there are a bunch of them.

Most of the posts will deal with the flight controls and lead out configuration.

One more comment. You just can't simply change the leadouts at the tip because now the rear leadout (if you move it forward) will cut into the ribs. So you need to take the covering off the top or bottom of the left wing in order to enlarge the rib holes. So you can see the job begins to snowball.
