Now that the building season is here it looks like I may be able to finally start the conversion of a SIG Somethin'Extra kit to CL. I am planning on getting a Dixon foam wing instead of building the kit wing which will save me allot of trouble trying to create new ribs for the center section and making the aspect ratio reasonable. Haven't talked to Tom about the wing yet but it will probably be 650 to 670 sq in with a tapered trailing edge for looks.
What I am pondering now is which engine I should put in the darn thing. I have a GMA Jett 50 side exhaust that was purchased over a year ago just for this project, but I have since acquired a Stalker side exhaust 61 and would like some opinions on which engine I should use.
Any and all comments welcome..
