PAMPA member Sport fliers are in elite company and we, sport flyers can learn from them, that's part of what Stunt News does, and Ted Fancher and John Brodak would be a good combo
to help PAMPA in both *areas, Precision guys and the Sport Fliers with no changing of the rules, I mean what's broken? Egos? Those can repaired too.

The Precision guys started out as Sport fliers and worked there way through the ranks to become Top fliers. We need to stop ourselves from regressing towards negative behaviors such as the "US" versus "THEM" routine. Give it a try.

Being as how I have a relatively high profile, I generally avoid posting. But I must say that I wholeheartedly approve the sentiments expressed in this post. I hope that the thread generates a lot of positive opinions that I can report in CyberNotes.

Who are you?

I am new to C/L (2 years) and I have loved being a member of PAMPA. I joined PAMPA because a man I was working with (George Aldrich) thought this would be the best thing I could do to get information and help in C/L. He was correct, I have learned tons from Stunt News and every time that I need help with a problem I pick up the PAMPA Referance manual and call someone. I have posted questions here on SSW and get fantastic help. So heres my take on this issue, It is obvious that percision C/L is a small click (no disrespect intended)of guys that have continued the tradition of precision aerobatics. These guys have a ton of knowledge and are willing to help sport flyers like me. Then there are the new guys and the sport flyers who belong to PAMPA. I imagine that many of these guys want what I want, to be able to go out and fly a plane that is properly trimmed and have an engine that runs consistant all the time. Because of my membership to PAMPA I have been able to learn most of the pattern this summer, I have met friends in my town that I fly with and I have been able to attend contest that I would have never heard about without information from this group. I have met John Brodak at the KOI this January and I can tell you that he is doing all he can to help grow a sport that when I went to my local hobby shop and inquired about C/L I was told was DEAD!! I am not going to pretend that I know anything about the inside jousting that I have been reading so much about on this forum. But I will end this with a full agreement with the others on this thread, we all need to support PAMPA, percision guys and sport flyers alike.
