I have a vector 40 W/a aero tiger 36--Currently using a 11/4 apc what other props have worked for others? I have been away from competition for 5 years--Good to be back--I want to personally thank Chris McMillin/Dave Cook/Woody & David Midgedly all the boys in NYC-and to my friend Windy, for all his help/empathy over the years.

I use either the 11 x 4 bolly that Randy recommeds or the 11" Phelps prop.

The Werwage/Phelps props were the best, but Jerry has ceased production.
I think Randy suggests an 11-4 bolly. Give him a call.

I have been runnin' an APC 10.5x4.5 on my Aero Tiger 36 and really like the way it runs and flies the plane. The plane weighs in the 40-42 oz range with about 550-560 sq in.
I can't give you any RPM numbers as my Tach went dead, but on 62 ft eye to eye the model flies about 5.2-5.3 sec laps.
For an inexpensive prop it works well..

A thinned down BYO 11x4 works well, you just have to invest time and effort cleaning it up.
The best prop I have found for this motor is the Bill Lee 12in cut to 11in.

I am so sorry your right--My brain has slowed down from age--Honestly, without you and your competitive nature I would have been lost!!!!!!!Sorry, Rick I love you too....You are the top of of the list...Anyway, I am glad to hear from you-...Say Hi to Laura--Please I hope I spelled & pronounced it right..I play guitar too--56 strat custom shop...Maybe, you can teach how to play slide LOL..
