Today was a beautiful flying day so, the Tony went up for the 1st test flight. The flight was normal in all respects with the exception of the nose weight. A little mushy on the pull outs. Off came the heavy spinner and flew again with just the standard 10-6 and prop nut. All went well with the entire flight. No mushy pullouts and wings level thru all maneuvers that I can do. I was told by the ground crew that she flew level and without any wobble. The new Max 35FP right out of the box started up after 3 flips and ran the tank out. 2nd flight was great and a solid pull at the top of the overhead 8's. No other adjustments had to be made in reference to control surfaces. The wing tip weight I put in the outbd tip is 3/4 oz. Those of you who fly all the stunt patterns might want a weight box installed. There is plenty of room for this. Pictures will be coming soon of the finished model. I will fly tomorrow morning for the test of the new LESS weight spinner to see how the balance is. For those interested, flap to elevator hinge is 14" and leading edge to nose is 8".
