Actually, there is a STEVE Moon. He is the guy on the right. Doug does not own Ultra Hobby Products. (This may be the first Moon BROTHERS picture that I have ever seen).

Overheard at the Tom Farmer Stunt Clinic and Dallas Contest today: So I sez', "Look! Brad's got a Walker hound"! Mike Greb sez' "A Walker handle? Walker's selling handles? Brad or Paul?" "Huh?" "Did you say "Walker handle?". "No, I said, "Walker HOUND!" "Hard point?" No point, that would be a bird dog. "Well, Treeing or Trailing? In Virginia it would be a Trailing Walker, but I raised Treeing Walkers. Brad said it was from Kentucky so it's a Treeing Walker.
Mike sez, I coulda' sworn you said, "handle". "Skip it!" Please show pic of subject Dawg, Brad. dg

This is Priscilla, she is my Treeing Walker. Shown here doing what she normally does, which is not much. She and I were spectators at the contest. She seemed to dig it.

The Dallas contests are always great fun to attend. I had good time and enjoyed seeing all of my Dallas friends. Very well run contest. Thanks to the judges Mike Scott and Phillip Nickles..

Hard-working CD Tom Farmer preparing awards while his wife prepares her famous chile for famished flyers. DMAA Prez Don Hutchinson smiling because he missed the ground with his scale-stunter Stearman in 2nd outside loop!(Note Coveted District VIII Eagle Trophy hovering over table. This is a awarded to the high-point flyer for all the District VIII contests during the season, administered by Tom Farmer since 1994.)

And here they all are at the end of the contest. Saturday: Clinic was well attended- Gary McClellan reviewed recent changes to be incorporated in the new AMA rulebook re CLPA, used video tapes of actual flights to demonstrate how to improve ones' flying using videos. Went to Hobby Park to fly in front of Tom's camera for a critiquing tape. Sunday: Flew PAMPA Skill Classes and finished by 1:00PM. The way it was.

Yes, this one did arrive a little on the heavy side, required lots of tip weight. I may dig a little hole in the inboard wing to see if I left one of the "Rabe rods" in there! This is a UHP kit and I like it very much- have another in the basement ready to begin! Thanks, dale g

The airplane that Steve is holding is from the new Saturn kit from Ultra Hobbies. This airplane flew very well and should be a big hit. I believe that Steve had a OS52 in the nose which made a very nice combination.

Congratulations Dale. I couldn't make it for this one, but there is always next year.

I'll bet you have to beat the women off with a pose like that.
