Paint Question

I have just started building foam wings. Most paints will attract the foam when sprayed on, is there any paint besides latex that can be used on foam.
I know polyurethane can be used as a topcoat. What kind of paint can I use that will dry quickly and be fuel proof. I would like a paint that will shine also. Can you give me some brand names and where I can buy them. (Wal-Mart, Home depot, Lowes, etc.)

What are you covering the foam with? Bare?

Sheeting (wood) or glass or film adds the tensile strength that the wing requires. Not sure I've seen any C/L planes that dont have some sort of surface covering.

Water based epoxy or urethane (Polycrylic) will not attack the polystyrene foam. there are many types of foam tho.

I have tried different types of covering, I think I like the brown paper best. But if there is some foam not covered that’s where I run into problems. Plus I am looking for easy to obtain paint that will give a good finish.

I am using the white bead foam.

What are some brand names for water based epoxy or urethane, and who has them?

Minwax Polycrylic--available at True Value, Home Depot, ACO, most home paint stores. About 11-12 bucks a quart.

It dries clear and you can use rustoleum or any other enamel over it for color.

The water-based epoxies are quite expensive. Nelson Hobbies carries some if I recall.
