Fuel Tank

Help, I am building an All American Senior and don't seem to have room for a tank. At least non that I have found locally. I picked up a Brodak, but it is about 3/16 too wide. Any ideas, or do I need to raid the pantry for a good ole can.

Brodak makes a narrow tank for these purposes. Did you give yourself enough length for such a tank?

I have a full 5 inches of length. Thanks, I will check out Brodaks site.

On the last couple of All Americans I built, I used a crutch front end wide enough for a standard tank and fabed up the usuall slide-in tank box. It's easey and is commonly done.

It takes an extra hour or so to cut out the new parts and put them together.

If you build the tank into the plane, I gurantee you that it'll leak!
