I have as noted in previous posts, put a Magnum 30 4S on my Flite Streak Arf. Then put a balloon tank in the wing. Well, yesterday I got around to making a double balloon tank, inner balloon for fuel, outer one for muffler pressure.
BIG DIFFERENCE! Engine rpm change between level flight and maneuvers has been greatly reduced, and it is easier to find the right needle setting.
On my second flight, I switched from a wood Master Airscrew 9x6 to a Master Airscrew "Scimitar" 9x7. Again an improvement in performance.
This thing is coming together! I may switch to the Saito, as still a touch more power in the climbs would be nice (Probably would run a 10x5 or 9.5x6 prop with the Saito)
