Just want to share a *little* of the joy I had today.
Went flying for the first timre in about two months! Weather was great, my flying buddy (28 y.o. #1 son) spent some time in the center of the circle with me to help out on some of the finer points, and all came home in one piece. The Geo Juno was flying great by the time we left. Aaron's Geo XL was working great. Even the possessed RD-1 was trimmed out good!

Just felt great to have the handle in the hand. Plus we actually flew on the same patch of ground that I used to fly on 40 years ago!
(amazingly there was no one using the place!)

Then I got to spray the first color on a new AA Senior, and my new Vulcan. (got to have them ready next weekend )

In the spirit of things, I would like to share a big joy I had over the weekend. I just finished a "Pat Johnston Quality" CAD drawing of my Saito 72. I cannot begin to tell you the effort I put into the thing, but I just said to myself, "self if he can do it, (Pat Johnston) so can I." That said, I will not do it again!! EVER!! Of course , the good news is that I don't have to.
