Yes Sir, that is a Bluebird. The wheel pants are missing, but it looks just like mine, otherwise.

No, AKAIK, there was only a 1 page "plans sheet" in the magazine, and another page with Some Full size templates. I scaled up the small plans and drew them out. Can't find them now. Would be VERY easy to do, though. 42" wingspan and bears a striking resemblance to the Lark, but the Bluebird has a "Ringmaster" style elevator.
Mr. Mackey told me to make sure there was more elevator than flap throw.
Mine is powered by a Fox 25, three BP bolts ('57??). Mr. Mackey used a Fox 29 in the original.
Got to complete the painting process now.

Bill How did your Blue Bird fly. I have thought about building one for years. It has a 25% airfoil.

Hi Bill,
And that's all there was! hahaha
That drawing and one page of templates (root and tip rib, firewall, rudder, wheel pants)
No full size plans were published by the magazine.

Any guesses on the Engine? I see a Fox, I think, but it's difficult to determine the size from the picture. I guess that's understandable, because the seller can't figure it out with the plane in hand.

Looks like the venturi is like the '57 19-25. Can't really tell but, as you know, their venturis were taller than the 29-35

Hey Wynn,
Where did you get them? Or did you blow up the page from the magazine?
Thanks

P.S. The 061 Warbird Mustang (your resized plans) will get built this year! Thanks
