Post Times.

I have noticed that many post times on this net are during the day. That is, weekdays during normal working hours for most honest people.

Could it be that many of our members are retired, or could it be that they punch up the SSW during working hours? Not to accuse anyone, of course.

It would be interesting to know just what you are doing slightly before posting on on SSW. Your responses will be completely Confidential.

Have to go online several times a day to check e-mail, when I'm sitting at the box I might as well check SSW. Kinda funny how that time warp opens and next thing I know 5 minutes has turned into 1.5 hours!

Here in New Zealand, it's tomorrow, twenty hours ahead of the US (give or take a bit, daylight saving etc..). I'm typing this at 4pm Friday 15th October and I see that at Stuka Stunt it's 9pm 14th October...........How you all doing back there???

I am a self employed building inspector so my hours are all over the place and I sometimes get a few days during the week off.

I work rotating twelve hour nights, so most of my posts are done by daylight when I'm off. I may post at literally any time of day, tho, if I have a few slack minutes at work. But, not many of those.

I`m retired (12 years now) and check in throughout the day to see how things are going. I`ve been on the internet for about a year and found this forum during a search for U-Control when I saw no mention of it in MAN after being out of the hobby for many years.

I am on call 7 days per week, 24 hrs. per day. Working on the the railroad has been a 24/7 job for over 150 years. In other words even though I might have to work any time of the day or night, I also might be at home any time of the day or night.

This past week, I've been off sick/recouping from surgery for bum appendix. Not a big deal, but milking it for all it's worth, plus my middle is swollen too big to fit in anything but loose fitting shorts. Almost certain this is from all the rummaging around in there with roto-rooters and TV cameras. Certainly not from extra chow or beer rations.

My normal weekday schedule is up at 4:30am, flip the 'puter on about 5:05, while my toast burns, check & dump email, maybe take a peak at SSW until 5:40 while toast and OJ is munched, and YoeeeOhhhhhhYoOhhh. Back home at maybe 3:40pm, check in again, dump more email. Steve
