OS .25FP in Twister

OK--Brett and others' inputs have convinced me to try the OS .25FP "solution" in the new Twister. I'll hold the .40s for the Oriental over the winter. I have the engine on the way but would like to get the fuse going.

Can someone give me a reliable measurement of the .25FP mounting size? Best would be the actual bolt centerline or distance between pads required.

Once upon a long time ago, I got tired of re-measuring (that wasn't until after the old age maladies crept up and began killing off some memory cells) and recorded it for every one of my own engines. I'd done something similar years before from the plans collection I have for various stunters' designs' dimensions and an Internet friend I've made wanted those numbers, which he has converted to HTML and posted at the URL below:

I've actually seen the site--my own brain-fade kept it from answering this question!

Curt: Did you get a chance to fix the engine mounting stats? I emailed you about them a while back.

For example, the Enya 5224 doesn't use 1/4 28 prop nut. It uses the metric variety.

Must be the wrong Curt--I noticed the same and wondered if I was goofed up.

I was using simply "curt" on these forums for awhile, but soon realized there were several others. sooo- now i use my universal email user name: captcurt, Livonia, MI.

Man! this year has really been a killer. From the end of march till a couple of weeks ago I drove 25,000 miles and was only home 14 days out of the whole summer. Needless to say the StuntStats site hasn't received much attention.

I did receive your email along with a ton of others that I carefully saved into their own folder on my laptop. I am still recovering from being gone all summer and now have to get ready for a big convention comming up in October. After that I should be able to squeeze out some time to get back to work on the site.
