He's not the only one. Just a quick check of any of the "L" group shows several with no profile at all. Guys are still playing hide and seek on the board. Get with the program. Post a profile.

It's everyone's perogative to reveal or conceal as much personal information on the internet as they see fit.
This may feel like a private club, but there are plenty of spiders, robots, lurkers and other processes gathering information lying around in the forum pages.
If you want a flying buddy, post your town and ask anyone near there to email you privately.
No need to blanket admonish the forum citizens for exercising a little common sense in guarding their identity.

#5 sourceI don't understand what everyone is so paranoid about. There are many easier ways to get info on someone than data mining off a forum like this. Every time I hear about something bad happening it is easily traceable to something they downloaded for free or from the info they gave to a porn or hack site. What can someone do with just a real name and location.. about nothing...

I live near Sulphur Springs ,TX. I have my own field, and invite anyone here to fly with me. By the way, I did not ask for his social security number, or a credit card number, or even his address, only where he lives.
