Scott drilled the rivits from an Exacto Razor Saw, leaving just the blade....it works real well in trimming where a parallel cut to a surface is wanted.

The difference is that the teeth on one side are flat, so there are fewer marks made on the surface being cut.
I just use a hacksaw blade with a bit of tape on one end to act as a handle.

I use Japanese flush cutting saws lots, and they really work. They cut hardwoods nearly as effortlessly as balsa and softwoods. No problem trimming 1/32" off the end of a engine mount. Won't scratch surfaces at all unless your very careless. Flexible enough to get into all sorts of places otherwise quite difficult.
