Fun day of flying.... pics

Well the rain and wind cleared out Saturday and we got our planes loaded up and headed out to fly. I called the only other local person that flys C/L Kreth. He joined us for some fun flying and once again I learned a little more from a master.
He brought a few planes. I can not recall the name of his stunt plane, and he brought his combat plane. Pictured below.
Josh flew his Shoestring and his Ron B Spitfire. Ryan put up his Flite Streak. Then Kreth showed us how to fly, he flew his Silver plane and combat plane. I had brought my little StuntChimp to get my nerve up before I tried to loop my new Skyray. Well when it came for my time to fly, I pulled the Skyray out. I figured I will either do a loop or crash and burn. Well I did a few inside loops, not to bad for my first loops. Well I figured I better do a few outside loops. The Skyray did them without a hitch. What a rush! I could not have done it without Kreth helping me get the engine set right.
Then Ryan (aka propbuster) put up his Flite Streak again. He could not let his old man out do him with outside loops. But that is his post and his set of pictures.
We put up a few more flights with the Ron B. Spitfire. Everyone had a turn on the Spit. It is light on the lines but fun to fly. It did inside and outside loops, and Kreth made it do a little more. Like lazy 8's and inverted flight.
We had a Fun day of flying.

Looks like a great time! Really enjoyed the photos! You guys are putting together an impressive fleet...I especially liked the shot of your new Skyray. It looks really good. I'm amazed that you tried outside loops with it already! Has Kreth been doing the instructor "2 in the middle" with you guys? Or are you just fearless flying over that thick, rainsoaked grass?

We got our first rain of the season here on Friday night. Must have been 9 months since our last rain...and it usually blows pretty badly afterwards, so I stayed home all weekend trying to rebuild all my wrecked planes. I got the BabyClown back together, but haven't figured out how to seal up the patched places in the fuselage paint to keep it from soaking up the oil. I really don't look forward to repainting it!

After I finish all the repair jobs, I need to topcoat the Buster. I have it all primed and waiting for good weather. Can you say "sloooooow?"

Kreth has been a big help in showing me how to fly c/l. Like I always say, I do not know what I am doing other then having fun. He is my local mentor. But not much longer, he is looking to move across the river. =(
Yea I figured I built the Skyray to learn how to fly and I was either going to do some loops or take home some busted balsa wood.
I was not fearless just wanted to fly and do a few stunts.
You are one of the slowest builders I have ever read about.
You have been working on that Buster all summer!!!!
You need to take some lessions from Sparkey.

( on a side note, Kreth's plane had a real funny name. I think it started with an "A".
