At the GSSC meet in Clovis last weekend Scott Urabe used his line wrapping fixture. It is very cleverly designed and attracted a lot of appreciative attention. I think the most unique aspect of the design was the way Scott integrated the tying procedure he uses to ensure equal line length. Hopefully Scott will chime-in here and send us some pictures of the tool.
Here's a couple pictures of my own fixture. It's rudimentary compared to Scott's, but I get acceptable results. The frame is from a $1.29 Home Depot paint roller. The thimble end is tapped to accept a 4-40 thumb screw. The clamp end is also tapped to secure the clamp beam.
