I CyA'd the first layer of CF tissue onto the wing center-section of a CardinalARC tonight. I guarantee our cats aren't going to venture into the workshop!

Would it work OK to dope the CF on? The fumes are truly fierce. I suppose that, having started with CyA, I have to continue with it on this plane, but . . .

Thats what you are suppose to use (DOPE)

Use clear dope, thin (watery) epoxy or Minwax PolyCrylic. Steve

I have discovered the Minwax polycrylic does not separate the carbon veil like dope does. I have a tendency to make back strokes without thinking. With dope I had to then try to push the carbon back in place. Later, DOC

Thanks, Bob. Ouchie! I watched just enough of Werwage's I-Beam video to get into deep trouble, I guess.

Can I switch to dope now? Or do I have to continue with CyA?
