I hope this is okay with Leonard, but, some time ago there was an E---- auction for a Scientific Stunt Trainer set of plans. The persons name was Jim Dodson. His Email at the time was [email protected] maybe he can supply you with a set of plans. Also at that time he was looking for two of the Scientific kits I had never heard of to complete his collection. He also tells how to make the log fuselage. I bought the plans for the Stunt Trainer and the Sport Racer. The latter was my first seccesful u-control. Later, DOC

PS: If Email doesn't get thru, email me and I will give address.

Jim (and all Hollow Log True Believers) is looking for an original kit (and plans) for the Lucky Racer. We have pics of the one Walt built originally for the kit box art, taken at the AMA Museum. A drawing of sorts has been made from it, and I understand from Jim that a CAD version is being prepared.

Two other seemingly "lost" Scientifics are the Hawker Hurricane and Piper Colt.

I found one "lost" kit this year, the P-38, as was reported here some time ago.

I also have a extensive set of Scientific plans. Currell

Sorry guys and gals, but, I got an email that this Jim Dodson's email does not work. They are right. I have tried to locate him on the internet using his address. MSN, Yahoo and Google say he does not exist. Has anyone heard of Lady's Island, South Carolina? Anyway that is where he is supposed to live. Sorry again, DOC:(

I have bought the Avenger and Stunt Master hollow log drawings and templates from Jim (biscotti), and he is a super guy to deal with. The TBF plans came with a vacuformed replica of all the kits plastic parts, and a clear canopy.
Between Jim and Currell you cannot find better guys to deal with.
With any luck, I plan to proxy enter the NVCL Musicano meet with the Avenger.
Great guys!
