#0 source Hi fellas, I've been lurking around here for the past couple of weeks enjoying everybody's posts, then all of a sudden something came up and I thought I'd better chime in to clear up a couple things.
First of all thanks to everyone up at Clovis for having an interest in my plane. I got so many compliments on how the plane looked I started to feel a little self conscious. You guys are very kind and I was definitely unprepared for the kind of attention you gave me. Howard and Greg, thanks for the kind and generous words. Funny thing is, it was far from the best plane there that weekend. Jim Tichy's 20 pointer had to be seen to be believed. That's a perfect stuntship.
My Cobra is in fact a Sig Magnum or, more accurately "the worlds most highly modified Sig Magnum". In fact the only parts that survived the modification process are the wing cores. For anyone interested in such things, here are the specs. 700 sq. inches,
64oz., ST51, all Sig dope...cloth hinges!
