I have several cox .049 engines I need to get mufflers for. I know cox made a round mufflers for these engines years ago. Can They still be bought? Is there anyone else that makes mufflers for them? Where can a person buy mufflers for Cox .049 engines and which ones work best?

Thanks for the help.

Ebay.

One of the following is for an .09, the other is an aftermarket for the .049. They are examples of what can be found on Ebay.

If you are not too fussy about looks, I probably still have a few in a junk box somewhere around here. Let me know.

Bill,

The Cox muffler will do very very very little muffling. Plus they don't work well with an engine with SPI!
