My brother and I have two of these N.I.B. and would love to find a project for them. Would anyone have an idea as to where I might look for exhaust headers or mufflers to fit these fine little .15's?

get a chunk of half inch aluminum and mill and dremel it to fit. You can make a pretty nice header that way, if you take your time.
Just a suggestion though, keep the motors NIB and just save 'em. Modern motors will run better, and are better built. Some of these would wear out before they broke in, the sleeves were tapered backwards, broken crank pins, poor bearing fits. If you got a really well fit one they ran quite well, but the odds are ag'in ya.

Back when these were new, I and a couple friends were competing in Goodyear, and so anxiously awaited our new engines.
It was a really nice deal, as both of mine came with spare parts, no charge. One had a total of 5 circlips in the engine. Only two were in places you would actually want to see circlips used. The other engine had only four circlips.
They never did work very well. At least not for us and in a specific application.
