NOBLER ARF Warning!!!

Just to let everyone know not to use the Quick-Links (threaded type)that come with the Model. I looked them over , and they looked sturdy enough, so in they went.
Over all I'm really pleased with the kit. Took some time to work on all the wrinkles in the M-kote, but it really Flys Nice, with little trimming. On my 5th flight yesterday the elevator link lost the center pin in the middle of a wing over, and straight in it went! Luckily I was flying on a nice damp soccer field. Should have back up in a week or so. The cowling, one engine mount (small crack) and a couple of stress cracks in the wing, and a couple of hinges is all the damage. Engine OK. Good Luck to everyone else with the Plane.

While this won't make you feel any better, the number of times that part, for that model, has been mentioned as being substandard on this forum has got to be in the dozens.

If you will be assembling another, there are some other things to look out for, improper alignment of empennage being one that would concern me.

I'm not going to say "old news," I guess I did, didn't I? Anyway...A real nice guy that flys with us...same thing...boxed up the whole mess, sent it back, got a whole new bird and motor...FREE...I couldn't believe that one!!!
