Paint progress 10/31 (photo's)

Dosn't look like I'll make it tomorrow for clear but this is what I got done today. Still need to do fuse emblems. Couldn't fly anyway it's raining. So I guess it's no rush from here on out.

On a building note I should be reciving plans for next building project. Should be interesting. Let me know what you think.

I sure admire you guys that have the patient to do paint work like this. I can see you still have a lot to do. Looks great. Later,DOC

We already told you what we think but you don't want to film it now. Photo's are nice but live action really tells the story.

I really like the level of detailing in this paint scheme. Some examples of ink work get too busy-to the point of distarcting from the form and line of the design. Robert, your work nicely "suggests" the line detail without drowning the eye in it.

Robert - Outstanding work! And fast too. Now, I'm not a scale guy, but if you want my opinion from a balanced trim point of view, I thing the only thing I could find to pick on would be that the horizontal stab/elevator looks just a little bare. But that is really picking nits. Maybe a panel line or two would suffice. None the less, still looks great as is.

Well, he said he had "fuse emblems" left to do, and was going to shoot clear tomorrow, but I am guessing you are correct now that I think about it. OK Robert, what's the verdict?

Verrry nicce. Please do not use Navy squaron emblems on it. Billy did and it looks a tad awkward to me. He has the VF11 emblem on the nose. To me it just looks wrong. Like he cares, ha.
His emblem is from the VF11 "Red Rippers". The squadron CO was from Arkansas, thus the razor back hogs head.

I was in VF211 and I won't use Navy emblems on a Army plane.
