Rules Proposal

I have just read and reread all the threads about the wind at the Nats and World Champs. Is anybody going to put in a rules proposal? I have flown in winds that were well over the 25 MPH. But, the airplane was built for it. It about pulled me out of the circle several times. If you don't beleive me, ask De Hill about flying at Wichita. I am not one of the top notch competitors in PA. So I would like to see someone in the top twenty get off their duff and put in a proposal. If serious enough it could be emplemented as an emergency rule. Its been done in racing already. Later, DOC

If they couldn't fly in 25-mph wind in Wichita, they couldn't have contests there.

I think that when Stunt guys start talking about wind speed that their noses grow and they run a close second to fishermen.

I would like to propose something parallelling the FAI proposal....9 m/sec....how many kilos or Euros is that?

I think the threads started a week or so ago. I think A "get off their duff" is bit premature. I stated that I was reseaching all of the current rules and procedures available (there are a lot of rules and procedures these days, I am having a little difficulty figuring out what the current "rules" are).

No need to cover old ground.

I do believe the current rule (40 MPH) needs to be updated.

I am trying to find the rule that Dave Cook discusses in his Stunt Book, whereby the ED throw out rounds and allow re-flies. Is this in the CL General Rules section of the AMA rulebook?
