It was announced in the CLAPA newsletter that Mick Wilshere was assembling a small run of the stunt (stated specifically) version of this engine from spares.

I rang him just now and all have gone already (6 or 7 units).

However he did say that it was the flat top piston version - he also said that 'Tubby' Day (aka Dave Day/Iroquois) prefers this version to the baffle version!

He also mentioned a smaller bore venturi and 'lowering the liner' - could we have some info Dave?

I am not an expert so take this as you find it....
I ran a ST C35 in a stunter ( a SIG Mustang )
Mine ran well with muffler pressure and the large venturi.
I tried it with small venturi and no muffler pressure and it was very hard to handle..... hard to start, inconsistant runs.....
I did not try for 4-2-4 run.... I set it for fast 2-stroke run... ie I would set for max RPM and then back off a bit for fastish but not screaming 2-stroke.
BTW this was with the Baffle-top piston motor.... the Flat-top piston motor is a whole other beast.....
