I decided to do a heart transplant on my well flying 'Number Six'.
Ordered a Stalker .51 from Kaz Minato early last week.
Had it in the mailbox friday. No Vat or customs.
It is replacing a Os LA .46 that i never got to run consistently.
The plane was already a bit tailheavy, so i had to put in noseweight even with the OS stock muffler.
That gives margin for some extra epoxy/glass fiber strengthening on this one.

I really like my Stalker .51 but found it wanted a little castor in the fuel or it ran inconsistantly. I run Powermaster 5% nitro with castor/synthetic blend oil. Don't know the oil proportions, but it calmed the engine right down.

How much bench run did you give it?
What prop are you using?

Norvaldo -

I run a Stalker 55 side exhaust in my Humongous and love it. I bench ran it about 45 minutes. I use 5% nitro with 50/50 blend of caster and synthetic. Very smooth running motor.

An hour on the bench but could have used more, it took a gallon of fuel before it really sweetened up. On the other hand after I rebuilt it with a new piston and liner and bearings, it ran nice afther only and hour on the bench.

I'm swinging a Bolly 12-4.25 3 blade but could use more prop if I had the ground clearance. With that prop and the above fuel I launch at around 8400 RPM.

The engine is on the Gladiator here in my avitar, 58 oz 720 squares, pulls like a freight train.

The engine bearers have got 4 extra new holes, so i will try to strengten them , as well as the tank compartment area.
The old holes have been plugged
