PA Rules

O.K.

Since were going over the OTS rules with a fine toothed comb in other threads here, let's go over some rules for the current PA pattern. My question is this. Exactly where does the overhead eight maneuver begin and end?? Does it begin and end at level flight when pulling up for the maneuver and end when you pull out for level flight; or does it begin and end at the top of the circle where the intersection is and the actual figure 8 maneuver is started and stopped. And, what constitues it's ending, passing the center intersection for the 4th time or what?

Don't hurt yourselves over this one, but I would really like to know the exact correct answer to this question. Warren, Garry??
