some research help?

I spent some time in Muncie and was unable to completely answer the following questions, which I believe have bearing on the Rules threads.....maybe someone has the stack of old rule books and/or a good memory?
1) When was the wording "There is no maximum model weight"....currently appearing on page 50 of the Green Rule Book inserted?
2) When did the "Maneuver Assessment", #15, page 56 of the Green Book become a part of the rules, rather that a seperate section that was preceeded by a caviat explaining that the assements were only opinions?
3) When did the little arrowsindicating wind direction, in the figures on pages 52, 53 and 55, appear?

I think Jim Renkar did some redrawings to the pattern, so you might want to contact him and see if he has knowledge of the changes. He did some work with Bill Zimmer at the time. I cannot answer your questions, but access to Renkar might shed some light on the subject.

Also,
When did the wingover become a 5 ft radius manuever? There was no mention of the 5 ft radius in the 1965 rule book. But by the late 80's it was in there.

It's not that some of these things that seem to have "snuck" into our Rule Book are bad....certainly the 4 pound deal is good, but I sure would like to know the process.
