Last 3 photo's before clear.

By the week end it will be ready for clear. Just a few ink lines left and maybe some detail but here are a few shots.

Your probibly tired of this plane so this will be the last update till monday when it gets clear. It's been fun.

Neatly done. Seems to have good craftsmanship. I suggest painting the inside of the cowling black. if you haven't already.

You can email [email protected] or go to ebay and try that in a search. I just got some really great Betty Boop nose art for a few of my planes. He will send you an email with all the images that he has and you can get them sized to what you need. Very reasonable too I might add. Sorry Leonard it's not an add, just trying to be helpful

When I was stationed at Tinker AFB I crewed tail number 79-0001 E3B and nose art was starting to make a comeback. SAC tankers were some of the first I saw. I wanted to name my E3 the "Tinker Belle" and submited the attached art. It was disapproved

I would rteally like to know more about the process of applying the line work to models. I have seen hints and bits obout it and I would guess that it has been well thrashed here in the past bout could someone point me at some definitive posts on the detail of how such things are done.

the way the lines cross the wing fusalage fillet and other tricky areas always look so clean and fault free so there must be some tricks.

Wow, Robert, I'm in awe. It really has been a treat to watch this plane grow up, and I'm amazed at how quickly it has reached this point. Love the detail work - you're a true artist!

I will keep you posted when clear is done and flight trimming. Guess I haven't forgotten how to build. I am in the show me state. Now it's time to show you I haven't forgotten how to fly!

I have noticed that I have gotten less negitive feed back from the peanut gallery.

I use Rapidraw 3084F Waterproof fast drying for film,black inda ink.
I use fine line Rapidograph pens and stensels I make. The paint work is done with self stick Frisket paper and Airbrush.

Deacals are made with testors decal kit. (water slide). The detail work weighs nothing! 0-ZIP-NADA!! But is does make for a nice looking ship. Just takes time. I am not going to get into the rivit lines like Billy did.
