That is my trick for attaching the flap for painting (so the paint matches) without getting the blank spots on the fusealge at the flap location.

I use 1/32 ply hinges. Saves a lot of time and drops the need for a another paint buck.

Brad,

That's an interesting idea. I have a huge stack of paint frames for various control surfaces, parts and such. Seems I have to modify one or more for every ship.

Hadn't thought of using the main airframe as it's own buck.
