A couple of years ago there was a music video out by a guy named Moby. The song is "Bird of Prey" The video has a crazy guy in it who thinks he is flying in a Hawker jet. There is a nose art on it that says "Bird of Prey" and it is a red badge with an eagle holding a bomb. It is so cool! Do any of you nose art guys know of this? I have been keeping my eye out for it but I have never seen it.

Thanks

You tried Googling for Moby, right? http://www.moby.org should be a way to find what you need. I didn't see "Bird of Prey", but there is a forum, so you might find what you need, same as here. Steve

The song is by Fatboy Slim.
Google "Fatboy Slim and Bird of Prey" You'll find the
video on a site called 'theonenetwork'.

Here is a pic of the Hawker in question. This was the day of filming. You can see the Badge on the side of the plane. I just need a good straight on shot and I can draw it from there.

This is the best I have found so far.

PS the guy in the pic dressed as a pilot is the camera man. He was filming the cockpit scenes. He was all smiles before getting in. But after 16 full tilt rolls he doesnt look so great.

Here is a bit of actual nose art from the Selfridge (first to fly-first to die) airshow.

B-24 and A-26. Those WW2 artists sure beat the more modern stuff. Not much from VN except stenciled names and crude cartoons.
