First 8 - another rush!!!

Well today the weather was almost just right. We just got in from flying.
The only thing that could have made it better were a few clouds. Sun was bright and the sky was clear.
We did not have a lot of time and we only took the 1/2a's. (Scouts and Hockey later this afternoon.)
Any way, Ryan flew the engine off his Wizard, did a few loops and if the landing gear was not retracted he would have done a touch and go, or a touch and flip. Next was the Ron B. Spitfire. Ryan an I looped it a few times each.
I got the last flight in and I figured I would try to fly inverted. Well I got a little excited when the plane went inverted I pulled it back over after a 1/4 of a lap. As I recovered I saw that I did a figure eight. That was too easy. So I tried to do another and it work! So I did it again and again. One was a little out of control and I did it over head. It was another rush!
What a way to end the day.

Woo Hoo!!! Way to go Paul! Great feeling. It’s good to over do it like that some times. Again, I’m jealous.

Get this, Yesterday was beautiful up here and I had to get some jobs done. My wife talked me into calling Joe to get out and fly. I called a number of times but got busy signals. Oh well. It’s pretty crummy today but hopefully we get some good stuff one more time.

As you stretch out those lazy eight’s bit by bit, soon you’ll be flying inverted like it’s nothing.

We will be up Thanksgiving I think. To cold and windy to fly I am sure but would like to meet up and talk shop.

Boy are you right about it being one beautiful day. Just enough wind to blow turbulance away. Got home from Church and dinner, checked email and asked grandaughter to help me fly. We took the Brodak Mauler with Fox 35 up to the school grounds. First flight I put in full pattern with hour glass after over head eight. I will get it right one of these days. Second flight with her on handle. After a dozen laps see dorks airplane and breaks prop. Went an got another prop and let her fly some more. Finished with me putting in another pattern in correct order this time. Had to call it quits as it was time to get ready for evening service. Got to enjoy what days we have left. Later, DOC
