Did anyone watch 60 Minutes tonight? They showed a couple of CL models he built as a kid. I didn't quite catch what the first one was. The second one had twin "trainer" canopies, and looked something like a Scientific Golden Hawk, but it might have been bigger, and maybe one of the Veco intermediates.
Tuned in late, missed the CL model portion of the show.
Really enjoyed what I saw.
Recommended viewing if it ever re-runs.

I remember seeing a picture from a 60's NATS with Rutan and a C/L scale Fokker F-27 twin engine commuter model. Might have been the Fairchild version ( F-227 ), very little difference between the two. Wonder if he ever tried to do anything other than level flight with it?
