I have added 2" to the wing span. Added my own constucted first time wieght box, and lead out slider. Modern tail, cowl and nose ring. The flaps are 3/4" wider not shown. Will start the sanding of the wing and fuse. I will put a os 40LA in it. Hope the photos come through.

Hi Greg, Looks like you decided to shorten the nose instead of moving the wing forward. Like the nose ring and cowl and the updated rudder. The Banshee is one of my favorite sport flyers. I have 2 flyers and 2 more in the makeing. All of mine are powered by the ole Fox 35 stunts and I ain't changin. I have purchase a few LA40s, but haven't built anything for them as of yet. Lets see the finished product. Looking good so far.

"Kool Plane" sounds like a good nombre. "Banchee Continental" also comes to mind. Dunno why. Steve

I had a Banshee and I still have Twister.

If you haven't already passed that step, I would suggest adding 1/16" balsa sheeting to the leading edge. It helped my Banshee. I didn't do it to the Twister because it was built for The Sig Contest.

Without the sheeting, 90% of the wing is a diamond airfoil. As I see it, for a little more weight you get a much better airfoil ( or maybe an airfoil, at all ).

This advice is consistant with the vast majority of good stunt designs.
