Mercenary? Who, me??!!

While I know this is frowned upon, primarily it would appear from using a sneaky approach, I'm proud to be an up-front, full-disclosure sort of guy.

So. Check this if you want to see an engine (or two) which no one on this site--less Mr. Tom Lay--has ever seen before.

No, no, I don't envision a rush to bid on these pieces; I mean, they are RC patterns motors, after all. And obsolete pieces to boot, made so years ago when AMA and FAI rules were changed.

Still, a lot of us are gear heads who appreciate fine work. In that regard, you most certainly will not be disappointed.

How much does that engine weight?

Will you make a stunt venturi and throw it in to close the deal?

The M61L RC Pattern engine weighs 557 grams/19.65 ounces. Not counting the pipe, of course.

M61 side-exhaust sport engine weighs 576 grams/20.32 ounces with muffler.

While I have full details on the engines, plus more blah, blah, blah than anyone needs to know, I hesitate to plug it in here.

Stunt venturi is not a problem. Assuming you can demonstrate a proven need for that much nose weight. At least this engine, back when 60ci two-strokes ruled, ran at about the correct rpm for CL Stunt, 10,200 to 10,400 rpm.

Of course that was peaked. Slurping 40% fuel. And swinging an APC 12-12. No, that is not a typo. An incredible load for a 60, but these engines, and O.S. Hanno Specials as well, would do it.

I thought that was your picture in last months "Soldier of Fortune".

The " Master" designation is interesting. I have a Cipolla 2.5 that screams like a banshee and they also used the name "Master" on the casing as well as on the box.
The Cipolla of course is made in Italy.

That engine has already been taken apart, hence the warrenty is no good.

Dan, I have only one suggestion.

The title and description don't include the phrase "model aiplane" or "model engine" and therefore many folks, who might otherwise be interested, could therefore miss it. The photo is good; the description is good.

Dan, Do you like the (4) FP.25's that you got off Ebay better than the FP.20's? Will there be a write-up in Stunt News about the FP.25's?
What size venturi are you using on your FP.25's? Are you using the stock mufflers?
I'm dieing to find out if Len was right. (smiles)

I have chosen to answer your questions by snagging a piece from "Classified" section where Mr. Durrill questioned the need for multiple examples of same engine:

Dan, I salute you as a really good person who has decided to make his prized engine available to whoever in the world wants it the most. It is good to serve humankind by making some deserving soul so happy with your engine. At least that's how I look at it whilst counting the money.
