E-mail To My District III Rep

I've been exchanging e-mails with my District III rep Phil "Pancho" Spillman. I've asked what is going on and Phil has been kind enough to share with me some of the details atleast on items that he has some knowledge and specifically my concern about PAMPA becoming anything other than a SIG for CLPA.

I think Phil counts himself as a friend of John Brodak, but he has clearly stated that he in no way is interested in changing the chartered direction, purpose or focus of PAMPA. I've been reassured that Phil thinks PAMPA means exactly what it stands for. I do believe this group wants the inner workings out in the bright lights and totally transparent for all to see. Not a bad thing in my opinion.

Considering the above, there are intelligent people who like and respect John Brodak but understand the "Big Picture" and will preserve the heritage of PAMPA. Let calmer heads prevail.

P.S. I contacted that quiet mild mannered Pancho before posting this and he has given me his blessing. Glad he's our Rep. Thanks Phil.

This is a good example of what I am talking about when I say that for the most part, the actual players in this drama have been more-or-less treating each other with at least respect if not affection. The EC dealings have been pretty decorous. Too bad it couldn't have stayed that way.

I don't agree with some of the way it's been handled up till now, but, I think that maybe, just maybe, THIS time the point is clear and we WON'T be back in January, right after SN comes out, arguing over another unexpected public surprise.
