I also am glad to see the board back up. Surprised myself at my age that I remembered my password. Too bad we still have some stuff not related to helping with models still going on. Finishing up a Bill Netzband designed "DOODLEBUG". Weather has put a crimp in finishing the Brodak kitted Olymplic. Thanks to Loenard. -DOC:)

This time I have to thank Manuel from the hosting business. Because this went on a new server, I had to redirect the domain name through the nameserver. This is a "24 to 48 hour" thing for it to propagate through the Internet and I didn't want to start it too soon...or too late. I did the switch at about 3:30 Sunday afternoon and noted that by 9:00 that evening the forum had already gone dead. Only one other person besides me on. The rest were probably "lights out" already with the name switch. 9:00 in the morning they started the copy over. 3:00 in the afternoon it was done. But we had a cgi problem again (software). When the cgi bin gets relocated on the server, the software can't find it and this forum runs on cgi.

Well, the nameserver didn't get me switched over until Monday evening. I must be in a pocket of the Internet somewhere where it ignores me. I did a bit of communicating with Manuel last night and a few more times this morning and early afternoon. I think there were three different issues that needed to be resolved, but it is now back up.

OK, now I can quit answering e-mails from y'all. There are supposed to be 900 some of you registered, but from the e-mails I got there must be a few more.

I try to be tricky with those once in a while just to help out.

But you are never going to guess mine, I betcha. (And I am not giving you any hints, either. With full administrative rights, one could raise havoc with the board.)
