Last year the control line fraternity lost a great soul. I refer to FR. Regis Rhodda of Syracuse,NY. Fr. Regis was someone that simply loved control liners and their efforts. He attended the Brodak Fly In and was a close personal friend to many of us that only met with him on occasion.
Before he died he had purchased a house in Syracuse to serve as a place of meditation, prayer and solice. The people in the Syracuse area that loved Fr. Regis have set up a fund to continue the dream Father had.
I am proposing a raffle to help support their dream. I am offering a NIB Brodak Cardinal ARF as the prize. ALL MONIES collected will be sent to the "Regis House" on completion of the drawimng on January 31st 2005. The cost for each ticket will be $2 each or 12 tickets for $20. The Cardinal will be shipped to the winner at no charge. The ARF is one with a black body and blue flying surfaces.
As a final pledge I will ship the plane to the winner without regards to how many tickets were sold. If we recieve only one ticket sold, that person will recieve the plane.I realize that this thread might have been placed in the classified section but felt that more would see it here.
