Flying

Just got back from the Argosy Casino field where they let us fly control line airplanes. John Bender and I have been trying to get out and fly all week. But, today did not look that promising when I got up. But, John called and I was loaded and raring to go. By the time the girls and I got there the sun was out. Also very little breeze. Got the girls up before John showed up. As we were getting lines out Mr Clean showed up(alias William Crane). We all got several flights in. John with his Brodak powered fancharized twister. Mr. Clean and his Banshee. I had my Primary Force and the Doodlebug. Surprixed myself with the pattern I was flying. Then I put the Doodlebug up for its first flight. Just a little bit nose heavy, but, it does turn when you want it to. John got the second flight so I could see it. Great afternoon and great people, but, like John said, the weather ain't gonna last. I am already thinking of the long johns for when the snow starts flying. Let the youngsters figure that one out. Thank GOD for a beautiful day, -DOC:-)
