This is my most recently acquired Megow "blotter" advertisement. I posted two of these ads last year and thought you might like to see another. These ads were produced in the mid 1940's, and reflect the wholesome and conservative values of that era....

I've saved that picture in my Decals folder... it looks like it'd make GREAT nose art! (I should live long enough to make a plane worthy of it!)

Here's another. These were all painted by a famous pinup artist named Earl Moran. His was the best work of his day, and he was famous for it. If you do a Google search for his name you will find enough nose art inspiration for several dozen airplanes. He even had Marilyn Monroe as a model. Let me know if you want a better scan.

Now you know why RC Modeler used to have the scantilly clad ladies always holding the model of the construction article of the month on the cover. -DOC Holliday

Hey you, you dirty old man...

If you go to you local Barnes and Noble Bookstore, you can pickup a page-a-day desk calendar that has these same pin-ups.

Lets see... 365 days means 365 hot dollies, ready to be scanned and used as nose art!

Why some of those chicks are so hot that... Oops... Well anyway, the calendar is pretty kool and I really enjoyed mine!

Youre welcome!
