Day of the Amphibian

This doesn't have a lot to do with control line or even stunt, but it was a nice surprise. It was a reunion of the local Seaplane Association on the old WW2 Catalina (RAAF) base close to where I live. The huge ramp has got to be the best boat launching facility on the east coast (of Australia). The aircraft havn't been around a lot lately because of a sandbar in front of the ramp, but this has been removed and they can now get ashore easily again.

The "tractor" aircraft is all composite. Anyone have a name?

The ship with the motor on the vertical stab is a Seawind.
