Gosh, I'm glad a few on this forum still post articles about building and flying. Especially those with pictures.
Thanks Al for your rudder article and pictures especially. I have been curious about the "movable rudder", better known as the "Rabe Rudder" for years and now I know why I haven't attempted one yet. After your post, I just may try to copy-cat one and see if I can get positive results. Most of my past has been in Racing, combat, and a little Carrier, but I do enjoy trying to do the beginner's pattern.
I feel pretty comfortable with most manuevers except the squares and vertical eights. I don't fly much so that is most of the problem, but when I feel the plane going light during manuevers, I bail out and try to save my plane. Maybe a movable rudder will help with this problem.
I can't remember most who post such articles and pictures, but I want to thank them all!!!!!
Many kudos!
