The pictures are still not what I hoped.

It is very pretty. But the age old question for me is what is the projected weight? What will you power this with?

The design weight is 65 oz (area is a true 675 sq .in). It should be pretty close to that, depending on the tip weight required. All shown is 43 oz. The flaps are extremely heavy (nearly 4 oz) in an attempt to test the Al Rabe flap theory. These are by far the stiffest flaps I have ever made (all I had to do was go to 8 lb C grain).

I had no idea what the weight would be since I used the "kept foam" wing and OZcover, I was pretty happy to hit my number.

The power will be RO Jett 65 on Werwage pipe (unless I can get one of Richard's new high volume pipes).

Beautiful, and we know that no camera in the world can capture the shifting colors of your paint. Chrysler had a paint like that in the 90's that changed colors depending on the angle of your vision. That has got to be mezermizing in flight. Worth those elusive 20 points. That being said, next time I fly PA in Dallas and you judge, rememeber my kind words. Ha

Looks good, City Smasher. Could I bother you for more info on OZ-Cover? Did you use one of the Coverite prep goops under it? If so, which? Any problems over CF or FG with PolyCrylic or epoxy? Steve

No. No need.

I used it only over bare wood.

PS: I read in the paper this weekend that the Japanese have decided to retire Godzilla from movie making after 50 years. About now. Well, maybe just one more. I suspect it's just a sounding board, and we'll see another 50 years of 'Zilla movies. I hope so, I still have a big list of cities that need smashing.

Aztec Gold. Chrysler Prowler color.

Yes. All of my planes take a 2 1/2" spinner. I was using this with the Saito and found a very light spinner, all of my calculations are using this spinner so I just stick with it. It also seperates my plane from the pack a bit.

Beautiful stuff, 'Zilla! I wager the Chrysler People are pleased, the colors make for Great Press! Now, for power: How 'bout that 225 Slant Six? It did come in aluminum.....
