I would think they would at least offer you a catalogue of their products! Possibly a price list?

At this point, I don't think they are that well organized.

Not surprised they are pulling it back together gradually. Hope they succeed well -- GOOD props! Or were...

I ordered several of their black Magnum series. The package came today and only the 1/2A sizes were available. The did send a catalog, but it is the same as their web site.

The older I get, the better I used to fly!

I ordered 8 props from them and got 1, wasn't worth the shipping cost. If it's not available it should say so when you order so you don't end up paying $7 for 1 prop. Stupid people, don't stop to think maybe I should E-mail this guy 'cause the shipping is 5 times more than the widget. Their props all have crooked hubs anyway.

I talked with one of the brothers about 15 years ago and if I remember it right (not a sure thing anymore) they had branched out into the commercial world injection molding and got shafted someway which just about killed them. I wonder if Jennifer is the 3rd generation?

15 years ago the Grish family didn't own the propeller business, they bought it back in 1998.

Last time I placed an order they sent an email recognizing my order but I've never seen any props nor another email explaining why. Would like to get the 1/2a size props at least the holes in the hubs are the correct size.

I spent the better part of the last few years trying to track down a half dozen ½A props from a variety of sources - LHS, mail order, etc.

Just recently was able to latch on to some 5½-3 and 5-3 Grish Tempest (the white ones) props from Sig.

They are fine people to deal with. I highly recommend them. I got exactly what I asked for, and the bill came with the props - they trust people to pay upon receipt!! How about that in this day and age.

By the way, my props were excellent in every way.

I have thought about the time line more and it was back in 1982 or 3 when I was active in FAI combat. So I guess it was an older memory than I thought. I purchased some then new Magnem 7-4 props for my c*x conquests. After reading their history I wonder if it was Tom that I talked with? Still wonder if Jennifer is the 3rd generation.

12x4 2 blade, 11x4 2 blade . For 3 blade try Gator props they are excellent. However I am anxiously awating the 10x4 3 blade Grish Magnum props great for Fp .40,LA .40 , hopefully Saito .40 and Brodak .40.

Their web site lists the plastic props as white. Is that the color you got?

As I recall, the Grish folks also have a fairly significant Government Contract to provide propellers for RPV's.......

Just to let everyone know... I got my last order from Grish 2 weeks ago. They are very easy to work with directly from their web site. The reason you do not often see them in the hobby shops is that they have done all they can to keep from being eaten up by Great Planes and Tower and many hobby shops only reluctantly order from SIG. BTW as a repeat direct order customer with a good payment history they gave a discount when the bill arrived.
Someone asked about the white props... they are a more rubbery plastic that may not handle high RPM but are very damage resistant. I wouldn't use them on my Fox Combat Specials but I would on a 36X or OS engine.
