Pactra Prep filler

Has anyone used this? It was recommended as a lightweight
filler for 1/2 oz glass over balsa.

Yes it works fine but is expensive. It seems to be the same as the much cheaper automotive lacquer primmers like DuPont 30S. Even smells like it. I used lacquer thinner instead of the "required" Pactra Prep Thinner. It worked fine.

Your right it smells and sands exactly like Dupont 30 and like you thats my primer of choice.
