enrique mentioned a "lil Jumpin' Bean" and I had about forgotten my first one.
My flying "family" buddies (same ones as the great "dope can drunk") had a large back yard/garden. Not REALLY big enough to fly 35 size in (would you believe the "Dad" flew a "clipped wing" Shoestring on 40' lines and an OS Max III 35 open venturi and Missle Mist!) but plenty for the 1/2As. Well I built a LJB with a Babe Bee 049 and my older buddy wanted to fly in the front yard. Well everything went great until I decided to do some "stunts". seems the power line to the cottage was kinda in the way. I was using dacron lines, but the handle was pulled out of my hand and the plane kept doing smaller concentric laps around the lines until it wrapped itself completely up.
Next day the power company got it down but I wasn't there.
Odd how we survived our youth.
