After sitting in garage and sanding and shaping
came back in and ordered the arf Nobler from
Tower, Have printed all the mods for it but will
probably have a lot of questions once I get it.
As they say in the soaps "I hope I dont become
a burden". Boris

Boris ,my buddy and I have been flying our Nobler arfs now for about six months and really enjoying them. Make the mods you have read hear
or from Alan's column at "FLYING Models". They are great at improving your flying skills without the time and emotional investment .

the kit Iam working on but now its not pressing
priority.
I'll be building a Nobler this winter from the '52 MAN plans. I might finish it for the summer, but just as easily I might not...

Shaped and mounted the rudder, marked the engine and started
to get to the end game and have to say,, its not looking
that bad, it may be ready to cover next week. Nobler "the
nasty" may fly...

Your next move is to order a box of wood from Balsa USA and scratch-build a Nobler, using the ARF's as templates.
They have closed the asylum for mentally insane.
Think Ill stick with the ARF and kit...

I look forward every weekend to watching Bill B. (aka Mustang Bill) and Bill T. (aka Smoothie Bill) fly their Noblarfs. And every month, the planes seem to fly better. And most weekends one of 'em will grit his teeth and politely ask when MY igNoblarf will be flightworthy again. I'm getting good at lying to them. Then they pretend to believe me. That's why they're good folks and fun to fly with.
OK, Iwarned you.. Have the basic build idea in
my mind but the one thing that Ive always had
problems with was How do you drill the motor
mounts with the thrust angle and be dead on
accurate.. This was #1 question a lot more on
the way
