Nice-looking plane, Norm! Of course, having it the air is worth a WHOLE bunch of pretty. Only building weather here in Southern Ontario this weekend. Luckily, I've got no shortage of that to do...

Meant to fly this new plane today, but way too cold and windy!

Norm,
Looks just fine to me!
Important is that it's in the air and flying.
Not every ship has to be a "20 pointer' to be good, or fun!
54 oz. should be a very good weight for a profile that big.

Joe,
Yeah, nice cockpit. Can we get a close-up of the wheels? Look pretty unique.

Thx,

The picture of my new modified Twister wazs the very first photo I have been able to compress and send. Tomorrow(Wed) I will try to get close ups of the lg and the cockpit. This ship is the eleventh Twister i have built over the years and I am hoping it flies as well as all the others. Thanks for the interest.

Kim here are two shots of the new modified Twister. The pants are what I call "cheater" pants. A simple i/8" ply pant held in place by being cl;amped between two wheel collars. The tires are simply painted orange. In profile it looks pretty good, and should look fine when in the air. I always weem to get my Twisters a bit nose heavy and decided to increase the thickness of the stab and elevator and move the "Gee Bee" cockpit to the rear. It worked! Balances well without adding lead to the tail.

Hope your first flight with new plane turns out better than mine. Should have known better when the OS 40FP started so easy. Temp in low 30's. Plane lifted of immediately and turned towards me. It is in peices. Well it gives me a place to hang the "JUMBO". -DOC PS:The plane looks good even with GeeBee cockpit.
