What is the purpose of the symetrical airfoil in a flapped ship? I believe that an unflapped plane will get better lift while stunting; But shouldn't the flaps take care of the needed lift? couldn't a flat(not airfoiled) wing with flaps have the same effects? I have noticed that most r/c planes dont have symetrical airfoils and do stunt pretty well.
